Sal’s Place is an independent, family-run UK business built around a simple idea: your home and garden should be somewhere you genuinely love spending time.

For us, outdoor living isn't about creating a picture-perfect garden that nobody touches. It's about the Friday-night pizza that gets slightly burnt because everyone was talking, the barbecue that turns into an all-day get-together, friends staying much later than planned, or opening a bottle around the fire pit when somebody says, “Just one more.”

Those are the moments we love, and they're really what Sal’s Place is about.

Hi, I'm Sally

I'm Sally, founder of Sal’s Place, and yes, there is a real person behind the website!

I started Sal’s Place with a love of outdoor living, entertaining and creating spaces where people naturally want to gather. What began as a small idea has grown into a business I'm incredibly proud of, working with some fantastic brands, manufacturers and family-run businesses from across the UK and beyond.

One of my favourite parts of running Sal’s Place is still hearing what happens after an order leaves us. We hear from customers creating long-awaited garden makeovers, celebrating new homes, planning spaces for growing families, or simply treating themselves to something they've wanted for years. When someone comes back and sends us a photograph or tells us how much they're enjoying something they bought from us, it genuinely means a lot.

Behind every order is a person, a home and usually a story. We never forget that.

It's about what happens outside

We believe some of the best memories are made when life slows down a little and people actually spend time together.

That might be a house full of family, twelve friends squeezed around a table, children making their own pizzas, two people sitting beside a fire with a glass of wine, or simply enjoying a peaceful garden on your own.

Family and home mean different things to different people, and that's exactly how it should be. Ultimately, we want to help you create a space that feels like yours and makes you want to spend more time in it.

Products worth making space for

We're selective about the brands and suppliers we work with. We look for great design, quality, longevity and products that offer something genuinely worthwhile. We're also particularly proud to support British manufacturers, independent businesses and family-run companies wherever we can.

Many of the things we sell are significant purchases, and we know that buying them online can come with lots of questions. So if you're torn between two fire pits, trying to configure an outdoor kitchen, wondering which size planter you need or simply want some advice before making a decision, talk to us.

If we don't know the answer, we'll find someone who does.

Because ultimately, Sal's Place isn't just about what you put in your garden. It's about helping you create a space where life happens.
