Pear, Gorgonzola, and Walnut Pizza

A sweet and savory combination that’s sophisticated and full of flavour.

Ingredients:

  • Pizza dough
  • Olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup arugula (optional)
  • Honey drizzle (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the pizza oven to 800°F (425°C).
  2. Roll out the dough and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Evenly scatter crumbled Gorgonzola on the dough.
  4. Layer the pear slices on top and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
  5. Bake for 1-2 minutes until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  6. After baking, top with fresh arugula and drizzle with honey for extra sweetness.
