Pear, Gorgonzola, and Walnut Pizza
A sweet and savory combination that’s sophisticated and full of flavour.
Ingredients:
- Pizza dough
- Olive oil (for brushing)
- 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup arugula (optional)
- Honey drizzle (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the pizza oven to 800°F (425°C).
- Roll out the dough and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Evenly scatter crumbled Gorgonzola on the dough.
- Layer the pear slices on top and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
- Bake for 1-2 minutes until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted.
- After baking, top with fresh arugula and drizzle with honey for extra sweetness.
