Features

✨ Sculptural Design and Contemporary Style

The Cocoon Pedestal is designed to be more than a source of heat. Its rounded, oval shaped form and elevated pedestal profile create a striking architectural feature that complements modern interiors. The brass finish brings a warm metallic accent to your living space, pairing beautifully with natural materials, neutral colour schemes and contemporary furniture.

With its freestanding construction, the fireplace can become a focal point in a lounge, sitting area or other suitable indoor setting. Its compact footprint makes it a considered choice for homes where you want the visual impact of a designer fireplace without a large built in structure.

Please note that the supplied technical specifications list the finish as matte black, while the product name identifies this version as Brass. Confirm the correct finish with the retailer before publishing the listing.

🔥 Real Flames and Comfortable Supplementary Heat

Enjoy the atmosphere of a real fire with the Cocoon Pedestal's bioethanol burner. It burns liquid bioethanol fuel to produce a natural flame display without the wood ash and soot associated with traditional wood burning fireplaces.

With a maximum heat output of 3 kW, the Cocoon Pedestal provides supplementary warmth for everyday living. It is ideal for creating a cosy setting for quiet evenings, relaxed weekends or entertaining guests.

The burner has a fuel capacity of 1.5 litres and an approximate burn time of up to 5 hours per refill. Fuel consumption is around 0.3 litres per hour, although actual performance can vary with the flame setting and operating conditions.

The adjustable flame and manual control give you a straightforward way to manage the fire. No electricity is required, and there is no chimney or flue to install.

🏡 Freestanding Convenience Without a Chimney

The Cocoon Pedestal offers the visual appeal of a contemporary fireplace without the structural requirements of a conventional installation. Its freestanding design allows it to be positioned in a suitable indoor space, provided the manufacturer's placement and safety requirements are followed.

There is no need to connect the fireplace to an electrical supply, and there is no wood to store or ash to clear after use. This makes it an appealing alternative for homeowners who value modern design and the atmosphere of live flames with less routine cleaning.

The recommended minimum room volume is 45 m³. Always ensure the room is adequately ventilated and meets the manufacturer's requirements before operating the fireplace.

Safety

🛡️ Safety and Responsible Use

Bioethanol fuel is highly flammable and must be handled carefully. Although the fireplace does not produce smoke or soot under normal operating conditions, burning bioethanol consumes oxygen and releases combustion products, including carbon dioxide and water vapour.

Use the Cocoon Pedestal only in a properly ventilated indoor space that meets the manufacturer's minimum room size requirements. Maintain the required clearances from furniture, curtains and other combustible materials.

Never refill the burner while it is lit or hot, and never pour fuel into an existing flame. Allow the burner to cool completely before refilling. Keep fuel away from children, pets and ignition sources, and never leave the fireplace unattended while burning.

The fireplace is intended for supplementary warmth rather than use as a primary heating source. Follow the supplied operating instructions at all times.
