Features

✨ Minimalist Design with a Matte White Finish

Originally designed in 2011, the Cocoon Pedestal reflects a contemporary approach to fireplace design, where practical heating meets sculptural form. Its rounded globe and elevated base give it a distinctive silhouette, while the matte white powder coated carbon steel finish creates a clean, understated appearance.

The white surface works beautifully with neutral colour palettes, natural wood, soft furnishings and minimalist furniture. It can brighten a living room, complement a modern dining space or add a designer touch to a carefully styled interior.

Standing 74 cm tall with a 60 cm diameter, the fireplace offers an eye catching presence without requiring a large footprint. Its freestanding construction also allows greater flexibility when choosing a suitable position within your home.

🔥 Real Flames and Comfortable Supplementary Heat

At the centre of the Cocoon Pedestal is a 1.5 litre manual bioethanol burner that produces real flames using liquid bioethanol fuel. Unlike a traditional wood burning fireplace, it does not produce wood ash or soot under normal operating conditions.

With a maximum heat output of 3 kW, the Cocoon Pedestal provides supplementary warmth while creating an inviting focal point. It is ideal for adding atmosphere to quiet evenings, relaxing with friends or enjoying a stylish setting when entertaining.

The burner consumes approximately 0.3 litres of bioethanol per hour and offers up to 5 hours of burn time per refill, depending on the flame setting and operating conditions. Its adjustable flame allows you to tailor the appearance of the fire using the supplied control tool.

🏡 Freestanding Convenience Without a Chimney

The Cocoon Pedestal offers the appeal of a real fireplace without the need for a chimney, flue or electrical supply. There is no requirement for a conventional built in fireplace installation, making it an attractive option for interiors where flexibility and appearance are important.

The fireplace is supplied in separate components that require assembly before use. Assembly takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes according to the supplied product information, with no special tools required.

Once assembled, it provides a distinctive decorative feature without the need to store firewood or clear wood ash. The recommended minimum room volume is 45 m³, and the fireplace must be used in a suitably ventilated indoor space that meets the manufacturer's requirements.

Safety

🛡️ Safety and Responsible Use

Bioethanol fuel is highly flammable and must be handled with care. Although the Cocoon Pedestal does not produce smoke or soot under normal operating conditions, burning bioethanol consumes oxygen and releases combustion products, including carbon dioxide and water vapour.

Always operate the fireplace in a properly ventilated room that meets the manufacturer's minimum room volume requirements. Maintain the required clearances from furniture, curtains and other combustible materials.

Never refill the burner while it is lit or hot, and never pour fuel into an existing flame. Allow the burner to cool completely before refilling. Keep bioethanol fuel away from children, pets and ignition sources, and never leave a burning fireplace unattended.

Use the supplied tool to adjust or extinguish the flame according to the manufacturer's instructions. The fireplace is intended for supplementary warmth rather than use as a primary heating source.
