Description

Cocoon Fires Terra Polished Steel Bioethanol Fireplace with Steel Legs

Bring contemporary design and the warmth of real flames into your home with the Cocoon Fires Terra Bioethanol Fireplace in polished steel. Designed by Federico Otero, this distinctive freestanding fireplace pairs a sculptural globe with three elegant steel legs, creating a striking centrepiece for modern living rooms, stylish lounges and carefully designed interiors. Its reflective finish catches the light beautifully, while the dancing flames create an inviting atmosphere for relaxed evenings and entertaining. With no chimney or electrical connection required, the Terra offers a flexible way to enjoy a real flame without a traditional fireplace installation.

Features

✨ Polished Steel and Sculptural Design

The Cocoon Fires Terra stands out with its high gloss polished steel finish and distinctive globe shaped design. The reflective surface brings a sophisticated metallic touch to your interior, complementing contemporary, industrial and minimalist décor.

Supported by three floor standing steel legs, the globe appears light and balanced while remaining a statement piece in the room. Its carefully considered proportions allow it to sit comfortably in a variety of interiors, from open plan living areas to holiday homes and selected hospitality settings.

The construction combines stainless steel and carbon steel, with a polished finish that enhances its modern appearance. Heat exposure may gradually create a golden or champagne coloured hue on the surface. This natural change in appearance can add character over time.

🔥 Adjustable Flames and Supplementary Heat

At the heart of the Terra is the Cocoon 2.0 manual bioethanol burner. With a fuel capacity of 1.5 litres, it provides up to five hours of burning time per refill, depending on the flame setting and operating conditions.

The adjustable flame allows you to tailor the visual effect to suit the occasion, from a relaxed evening at home to a welcoming atmosphere when guests arrive. With a maximum heat output of 3 kW, the Terra also provides supplementary warmth alongside its decorative appeal.

Bioethanol fuel means there is no need for a conventional chimney or flue. The fireplace operates without electricity, giving you greater flexibility when choosing a suitable location within your home.

🏡 Freestanding Convenience and Flexible Placement

The Cocoon Fires Terra is designed for straightforward assembly without permanent floor installation. Weighing 20 kg, it can be repositioned when necessary, provided it has been extinguished, completely cooled and prepared for moving in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Its freestanding design makes it an attractive option for living rooms, holiday homes and suitable commercial interiors. The Terra can also be converted into a ceiling mounted fireplace using the appropriate optional telescopic rod and compatible components. Ceiling mounting requires suitable installation and should not be attempted without following the manufacturer's instructions.

Safety

🛡️ Safety and Indoor Use

The Cocoon Fires Terra is intended for indoor use in a suitable, well ventilated room with a minimum volume of 45 m³. Although it does not require a chimney, adequate ventilation is essential when operating a bioethanol fireplace.

Bioethanol is highly flammable. Never refill the burner while it is lit or hot. Extinguish the flame and allow the burner to cool completely before refuelling. Keep fuel away from heat sources and maintain the required clearances from curtains, furniture and other combustible materials. Keep children and pets away from the operating fireplace and never leave a burning flame unattended.

The fireplace does not include glass protection. Do not move it while operating or hot, and do not use it as your primary heating source. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for assembly, operation, fuel handling and maintenance.
