Features

✨ Contemporary Design with a Polished Steel Finish

The Cocoon Fires Vellum stands out with its distinctive round shape and mirror polished steel appearance. The reflective finish catches the light beautifully, adding depth and character to your interior while complementing modern, minimalist and industrial inspired décor.

Constructed from carbon steel and polished steel, the fireplace combines a clean architectural look with a substantial design. Its wall mounted format creates a streamlined appearance, helping you make the most of your floor space while turning an unused wall into a striking design feature.

Heat exposure may gradually give the polished surface a golden or champagne coloured hue. This natural change in appearance can add character to the finish over time.

🔥 Adjustable Flames and Inviting Warmth

At the heart of the Vellum is the Cocoon 2.0 manual bioethanol burner. Its 1.5 litre fuel capacity provides up to five hours of burning time per refill, depending on the flame setting and operating conditions.

The adjustable flame lets you tailor the visual effect to suit your surroundings, whether you are relaxing after a busy day or creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. With a maximum heat output of 3 kW, the Vellum offers supplementary warmth alongside its decorative appeal.

The fireplace uses bioethanol fuel and does not require electricity. Its chimney free design also eliminates the need for a conventional flue, offering an alternative to traditional fireplaces where a suitable installation is possible.

🏡 Space Saving Wall Mounted Design

With a diameter of 60 cm and a depth of 35 cm, the Cocoon Fires Vellum makes an impressive visual impact without occupying floor space. Its circular design works particularly well in living rooms, lounge areas, apartments and selected commercial interiors.

The fireplace is designed for wall mounting and weighs 27 kg. A suitable supporting wall and correct installation are essential. Always use the specified mounting hardware and follow the manufacturer's installation instructions. Seek professional assistance if you are unsure whether your wall can safely support the appliance.

The minimum room volume is 45 m³. Although a chimney is not required, adequate ventilation remains essential for safe indoor operation.

Safety

🛡️ Safety and Indoor Use

The Cocoon Fires Vellum is intended for indoor use in a suitable, well ventilated space. Never assume that a chimney free fireplace can operate safely in an unventilated room.

Bioethanol is highly flammable. Never refill the burner while it is lit or hot. Extinguish the flame and allow the burner to cool completely before refuelling. Keep fuel away from heat sources and maintain the required clearances from curtains, furniture and other combustible materials. Keep children and pets away from the operating fireplace and never leave a burning flame unattended.

The fireplace does not include glass protection. Do not touch the appliance while hot, and do not use it as your primary heating source. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for mounting, operation, maintenance and fuel handling.
