What is it made of?

Our Round Log Store is constructed from 100% genuine, certified Corten Steel—also known as Weathering Steel or COR-TEN steel. "COR" stands for corrosion resistance, while "TEN" refers to its outstanding tensile strength.

Made using structural-grade 2mm thick steel as standard, the log store will develop a naturally protective patina when exposed to the elements. This rust-coloured finish not only enhances the store's unique look but also acts as a barrier to slow down further corrosion—dramatically extending its lifespan.

How long does the weathering take?

Your log store is delivered in its raw steel state. Within a few days outdoors, it will begin to develop a beautifully organic patina. This weathering process will evolve over 6 to 9 months, depending on:

• Local climate

• Rainfall and humidity

• Sun exposure

• Proximity to coastal conditions

Do I need to maintain it?

Absolutely not. Unlike wooden or plastic alternatives, this is a zero-maintenance product. No painting, sealing, or repairing—just load it up and enjoy!

Good to Know

• 💧 Run-Off Warning: During the early stages of weathering (first 3–6 months), rust-coloured water may run off the surface and could stain patios, decking, or paving underneath. We recommend placing the log store where this won’t cause issues—or protecting the ground below during this period.

• ⏳ Delivered at Various Stages: Your log store may arrive as raw steel or partially weathered—either way, it will continue to patina naturally over time.
