The AB8 burner has an 8 litre capacity and provides an approximate burn time of 7 to 9 hours. It produces up to 20,433 BTU/h or 6 kW of thermal output and can heat an average area of up to 60 m² under suitable conditions.
For outdoor use, the Chaser 38 can also be configured with a G16T Liquid Propane or Natural Gas burner, providing a higher thermal output of up to 65,000 BTU/h.

Natural Gas
The G16T Natural Gas burner is designed for outdoor use only and provides a thermal output of up to 65,000 BTU/h. Natural Gas can provide an unlimited burn time when connected to a suitable gas supply.
Safety and Certification 🛡️
The Chaser 38 features a manufacturer approved surround designed for the BS EN 16647 compliant AB8 bioethanol burner.
The bioethanol configuration complies with applicable standards including EN 16647 and is BSI Certified. The manufacturer also states compliance with relevant standards in the USA, Europe, UK and Australia.
For indoor bioethanol use, the Indoor Safety Tray and included AB8 Burner Efficiency Ring must be installed before operation.
Liquid Propane and Natural Gas burners are designed for outdoor use only and must be operated in a well ventilated space. The gas burners are UL/ULC listed to ANSI Z21.97 2017 and CSA 2.41 2017, with Gas Appliance Regulation 2016/426 compliance as applicable to EU CE and UK UKCA requirements.
