Safety

🛠️ Installation and Safety

The Foco Free 1200 is designed for integration into a custom built fireplace feature. Although it is intended to support DIY projects, the surrounding structure must be suitable for use with a real flame appliance. Use appropriate fire resistant materials and insulation where required, and follow the manufacturer's installation and clearance instructions.

Bioethanol fireplaces produce real flames and require adequate ventilation. Keep furniture, curtains and other combustible materials at a safe distance. Never refill the burner while it is hot or burning, and allow it to cool completely before refuelling. Use only the recommended bioethanol fuel and never leave a lit fireplace unattended.
