Foco One 1800 Extra Wide Built In Bioethanol Fireplace with Modern Design

Make a bold statement in your home with the Foco One 1800 built in bioethanol fireplace. At an impressive 180 cm wide, this contemporary fireplace creates a dramatic flame display that transforms a plain wall into a stylish architectural feature. Its single sided design is particularly suited to modern living rooms, spacious interiors and media walls, where the beauty of real flames can take centre stage. Finished in sleek black steel, the Foco One 1800 combines minimalist styling with a choice of manual or automatic bioethanol burners to suit your preferred way of enjoying a fire.

Features

🔥 Extra Wide Design for Contemporary Homes

The Foco One 1800 is designed to integrate neatly into a wall, creating a seamless finish that complements modern furniture, neutral colour schemes and sophisticated interiors. Its generous 180 cm width makes it an excellent choice for larger rooms where a smaller fireplace might feel out of proportion.

Constructed from 4 mm thick steel with a black powder coated finish, the frame offers a clean, understated appearance. The front facing flame display provides a striking focal point for relaxing evenings, entertaining guests or adding atmosphere to an open plan living space.

A tempered glass panel is included to help shield the flames from draughts and support a steadier flame display.

✨ Choose Manual or Automatic Burner Options

Tailor your Foco One 1800 to your lifestyle with a choice of manual or compatible automatic bioethanol burners.

The manual option offers straightforward operation without an electrical connection. It is ideal for those who prefer simple controls and an uncomplicated fireplace experience.

For added convenience, compatible automatic burners offer remote control, mobile app operation and adjustable flame settings. Selected Planika FLA4 and FLA4+ configurations can also support Smart Home integration when fitted with the appropriate additional module.

Burner options vary in flame length, heat output, fuel capacity and operating time. Check the specifications of your chosen burner before purchasing to ensure it meets your requirements.

🏡 A Statement Fireplace for TV and Media Walls

With its extra wide format, the Foco One 1800 is particularly well suited to contemporary media walls and installations beneath a television. Its long horizontal design creates a balanced appearance, helping to connect the fireplace with the surrounding cabinetry, shelving and screen.

Before installing a television above the fireplace, carefully consider the required clearances and heat exposure. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for both the fireplace and television, and ensure that any wall mounted equipment is protected from excessive heat.

The Foco One 1800 uses bioethanol fuel and does not require a conventional chimney or flue. This provides greater flexibility when planning a built in fireplace feature, provided the room meets all ventilation and installation requirements.

Safety

🛡️ Safety and Installation Requirements

The Foco One 1800 is designed for indoor use in a suitable, well ventilated space. The absence of a traditional chimney does not remove the need for adequate ventilation or compliance with the manufacturer's safety instructions.

When installing the fireplace in a combustible wall, suitable heat insulation must be fitted between the fireplace and the surrounding construction. Fire resistant boards, such as Skamotec Fire Boards or an appropriate equivalent, may be suitable when specified for the installation.

The included tempered glass helps protect the flames from draughts but does not eliminate the risks associated with an open flame.

Important safety guidance:

• Install the fireplace according to the instructions for the selected burner and wall construction.

• Confirm the correct minimum room volume, ventilation requirements and installation clearances before use.

• Take particular care when positioning the fireplace beneath a television or near heat sensitive equipment.

• Never refill a lit or hot burner. Allow it to cool completely before adding bioethanol fuel.

• Use only the recommended fuel and keep it away from ignition sources during refilling.

• Keep children, pets and combustible materials at a safe distance.

• Never leave a burning fireplace unattended.

• Automatic burners require a suitable electrical supply. Follow the requirements for your selected model.
