Pod 40 creates a strong visual centrepiece without overwhelming the surrounding space. Its rounded form and smooth Fluid Concrete finish give it a distinctive character, while the open flame creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Real Flame & Generous Warmth 🔥

The bioethanol version of Pod 40 uses the AB8 burner, with an 8 litre fuel capacity and a thermal output of up to 6 kW.

The burner provides approximately 7 to 9 hours of burn time, depending on the installation environment, operating conditions and fuel composition. It can heat an average area of up to 60 m².

Bioethanol provides a genuine flame without the smoke, ash or soot associated with traditional wood burning fires.

For indoor bioethanol applications, additional safety components are required. The Indoor Safety Tray and included AB8 Burner Efficiency Ring must be installed before operating the Pod 40 indoors in order to comply with EN 16647.

Bioethanol & Gas Options

Pod 40 offers flexibility with several fuel configurations.

Bioethanol

The AB8 bioethanol burner has an 8 litre capacity, up to 6 kW of heat output and approximately 7 to 9 hours of burn time.

Bioethanol is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications when the required additional indoor components are correctly installed.

Liquid Propane

The G16T Liquid Propane burner is designed for outdoor use only and produces up to 19 kW of thermal output.

Natural Gas

The G16T Natural Gas burner is also designed for outdoor use only and provides a continuous heat source with a stated thermal output of up to 19 kW.

Liquid Propane and Natural Gas versions must only be used outdoors and must be installed according to the applicable manufacturer requirements.

All Weather Materials 🌿

Pod 40 features a Fluid Concrete surround made from a blend of green cement and recycled materials.

The specially formulated Fluid Concrete Technology is designed to provide a strong yet lightweight construction with resistance to scratches, stains, mould and mildew.

Its smooth finish helps repel dust and debris, making everyday cleaning and maintenance easier.

The burner is made from Grade 304 stainless steel and is available in Stainless Steel or Black. An optional Black Ceramic Coating is also available.

Generous Table Space 🍷

Unlike a traditional fire pit, Pod 40 also provides a generous surrounding surface where you can place drinks, appetisers and other essentials.

This practical table space makes it particularly suited to entertaining, giving guests a comfortable area to gather around while enjoying the warmth and ambience of the fire.

Coffee Table Conversion

Pod 40 features a manufacturer approved surround for the BS EN 16647 compliant AB8 bioethanol burner.

The bioethanol burner is O T L listed to UL 1370, BSI Certified to EN 16647 and compliant with the ACCC Safety Mandate for bioethanol burners.

For indoor bioethanol use, the Indoor Safety Tray and included AB8 Burner Efficiency Ring are required before operation to comply with EN 16647.

Liquid Propane and Natural Gas configurations are suitable for outdoor use only.

The gas burners are UL and ULC listed to ANSI Z21.97 2017 and CSA 2.41 2017, with Gas Appliance Regulation 2016/426 compliance applying to the EU and UK.

Bioethanol fires must only be used with the manufacturer's recommended fuel and according to the supplied instructions.

Never refill the burner while the flame is burning or while the burner is still hot. Allow the burner to cool completely before refuelling.
