As it weathers, it forms a rich, protective patina in natural shades of orange, red and brown. This colour evolution is shaped by your local climate, meaning no two planters ever look the same. A Quick Note on Weathering

If ordered in raw steel, the transformation begins once exposed to moisture and air. Expect visible patina development within weeks, with full colouration typically forming over 6 to 9 months. The pace will vary depending on your local climate and conditions (e.g., near the coast or exposed to heavy rainfall).

Be aware that during the early stages, some staining or ‘run off’ may occur on surfaces beneath the planter. This is a normal part of the weathering process.
