Where the heat from the stove does not raise the hearth temperature above 100°C, the supplied guidance states that the hearth should extend at least 300mm to the front and 150mm to either side. The full hearth area should be at least 840 x 840mm and the hearth should be at least 12mm thick.

The specified minimum distance to combustible materials is 500mm above, 600mm to the sides and 500mm to the rear. Always check the manufacturer's installation requirements for your specific installation.
